Stuart Aikman - traditional stonemason

Welcome to my website.  

I am a traditionally trained stonemason with 40 years experience in the industry.  I take great pride in what I do - whether the contract is small or large, my attention to detail ensures that each job is carried out with precision so that new matches old. 

I am constantly improving my knowledge and skills to incorporate the latest ideas in stone repair and restoration.

My work has taken me all over the country from the Caledonian Canal, Stonehaven railway station, to Edinburgh Castle and the Balmoral Hotel.  Living just south of Edinburgh I'm available for sub-contract and commission work throughout Scotland.
